Shelby delivered a happy, healthy baby boy early this morning. Eli Jamie O'Connor came out at a fighting weight of 6 lb, 14 oz. Both Eli and Shelby are resting very comfortably. Eli is eating well, has a really loud set of pipes, and is almost unfathomably cute.

Wow! It's amazing to look back at the years when Eli was just a young boy. He has grown up so much since then. I believe that mom and dad deserve a congratulations for making it through ten years. They were put through test after test, perhaps the biggest one being their year in Australia oconnoroos.wordpress.com), and yet Eli has survived. I can't wait to watch him as he grows over the coming years.
